（2）对金属腐蚀比一般其它无机酸小，可用于锅炉及陶瓷的除垢剂,水处理的杀菌

（3）用于纤维、木材、纸张的漂白转化，去除烟草中亚硝酸盐，石油矿井淤泥酸化处理

（4）用作涂料和PH试纸的原料，棉纤维的阻燃剂，树脂的固化剂，农药中间体和各种氨基磺酸衍生物的原料

（5）生产甜蜜素的重要原料
